1. Overview

At Betasea Shop, we take pride in providing quality aquatic life and aquarium products. Due to the nature of our products, certain items have specific return conditions.


2. Returns (Non-Live Items)

We accept returns on eligible non-live items within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in original condition
  • Item must be in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is required

Non-returnable items include:

  • Opened or used products
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Gift cards

3. Live Fish Policy (Important)

Due to the sensitive nature of live animals, all live fish sales are final.

We do not accept returns on live fish.


4. Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA)

We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee under strict conditions:

If a fish arrives deceased (DOA), you must:

  • Contact us within 2 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the fish in the unopened bag

If approved, we will offer:

  • Replacement (if available), or
  • Store credit

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Failure to follow these steps voids the guarantee.


5. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Include:

  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photos

We will review and provide a replacement or store credit when applicable.


6. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank

Shipping costs are non-refundable.


7. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need an exchange, contact us directly.


8. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.


9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 12 hours of purchase if they have not yet been processed or shipped.

Once an order has been processed, it cannot be canceled.
