1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays).
Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email. A second email with tracking information will be sent once your order has shipped.
2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method.
Estimated delivery times:
- Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days
- Expedited Shipping: 2–3 business days
Delivery delays may occasionally occur due to carrier issues or unforeseen circumstances.
3. Shipping Carriers
We primarily ship using trusted carriers such as:
- USPS
- UPS
- FedEx
Carrier selection may vary depending on your location and the type of product ordered.
4. Live Fish Shipping (Important)
For the safety and well-being of our fish, special shipping conditions apply:
- Live fish are shipped Monday through Wednesday only to avoid weekend delays
- Orders placed after the weekly cutoff will ship the following week
- We monitor weather conditions and may delay shipment to ensure safe delivery
5. Live Arrival Guarantee (DOA Policy)
We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee under the following conditions:
- Someone must be available to receive the package on the first delivery attempt
- In the rare case of DOA (Dead on Arrival), you must:
- Contact us within 2 hours of delivery
- Provide clear photos of the fish in the unopened bag
If approved, we will offer:
- Replacement (if available), or
- Store credit
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
6. Incorrect Address or Delivery Issues
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
Betasea Shop is not responsible for:
- Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
- Lost or stolen packages marked as “delivered”
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees may apply.
7. Shipping Restrictions
At this time, we ship within the United States only.
Certain locations may have restrictions on live fish shipments. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
8. Delays and Liability
While we work hard to ensure timely delivery, Betasea Shop is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Carrier issues
- Acts beyond our control
9. Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your delivery.
